I wanted to use this as a place to share my story of how we lost our son, Aidan. While he was only with us for 17 weeks and never got to breathe real air, he is still a part of our family and we miss him so, so much.
I do not claim to be a writer and I apologize for my terrible grammar. My story of the 72 hours we spent losing my son can be found on the '72 Hours' tab at the top of this blog. Just a warning: it is a very long story and a bit graphic.
It's been a week since the first incident happened, and my husband and I are doing our best to get through this ordeal. I can't say the story will give you encouragement, but if you have gone through anything like I have, please know that you are not alone.
